Georgia Registered Agent Reviews: Nine Prices, One Pick
For $99 a year, get a Georgia agent with a registered address on file, same-day scanning of legal documents, and compliance reminders before state deadlines.
Disclosure first: this page belongs to Georgia Registered Agent.co, and Georgia Registered Agent.co sits at the top of its own ranking. We sell the $99 service we are about to recommend. Read accordingly. The prices are a different matter. Every number below is what the vendor itself advertised when we checked in July 2026, and the $90 that beats ours is printed in row three, not hidden.

Why Georgia Registered Agent.co Takes the Top Slot
Five reasons, each one checkable. Court papers that hit our Georgia office get scanned and sent to you the same day. Renewal is $99, the same as year one, every year you stay. Checkout ends the transaction; no add-on screens, no premium tiers, nothing to decline. The state's public record shows our Georgia street address instead of your home. And the only fee past the subscription is disclosed up front: $15 per item for scanning ordinary business mail.
Here is the claim we refuse to make: lowest price in the state. The cheapest registered agent service in Georgia by advertised sticker is BetterLegal's $90. We charge $99, among the lowest flat annual prices in Georgia, with same-day scanning built in. That is the honest version of cheap.
Runners-Up: Two Through Nine
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order Here2. Northwest Registered Agent
If not us, Northwest. The first year is free when bundled with a formation order, then $125 a year up to four states, dropping to $100 per state at five. Everything is published, people answer the phones, and the privacy stance is real. They sit second for one reason: $125 is more than $99.
3. BetterLegal
BetterLegal posts $90 a year. Lowest number on this page, and we say so plainly. They stay third because we could not confirm how the first year gets billed, and a price we could not verify ranks behind prices we could. If the $90 decides it, read their checkout terms twice and go with our blessing.
4. Rocket Lawyer
Rocket Lawyer wants $125 a year, identical at every membership level, with no first-year teaser we could find. Fair and steady. The catch is what surrounds it: a full legal platform you may never open. Use the templates and attorney access and the price makes sense. Skip them and the extra cost bought nothing.
5. ZenBusiness
ZenBusiness owns the best dashboard in the business. It also owns a renewal jump: $99 plus state fees in year one, $199 a year from then on. Compare at $199. That is the price you keep paying.
6. Bizee (formerly Incfile)
Bizee bundles free agent service into its formation packages, three to twelve months depending on the package. A real perk if you are forming an LLC this month. Standalone, it costs $149 a year, and the meter starts the moment the free months expire. Write that date down.
7. LegalZoom
LegalZoom is the name your accountant recognizes, and the $249 flat rate reflects it. Auto-renews. No first-year break found. The work performed is the same statutory appointment as every other row, so the premium buys familiarity alone.
8. Swyft Filings
Swyft Filings charges $149 per quarter. Multiply it out: roughly $596 a year, the highest effective total here, and no separate first-year discount turned up. Quarterly billing makes big totals feel small. Do the math before it does you.
9. Inc Authority
Inc Authority hands over year one for $0, then goes silent on the renewal. Homepage, FAQ, package pages: no price anywhere. You learn the real cost at checkout or over the phone. Hidden renewals are the exact trap a price ranking exists to expose, so ninth is where they land.
Switching Agents in Georgia Rides Another Filing
Georgia never built a standalone change-of-agent form. You change agents inside a filing you were already making: the Annual Registration, $60 total, handled by the Secretary of State's Corporations Division through the eCorp portal, or Form CD 920, the Amended Annual Registration, for $30 when the change cannot wait for the window. One detail catches people. Georgia's One Click renewal tool works only when nothing on the record changes, so the year you swap agents, you log into eCorp and file the full form instead. Switching here is cheap but never free and never instant. The better play is picking an agent whose renewal price will not chase you off in year two.
Yes, Another LLC Can Be Your Georgia Agent
Plenty of old guides claim Georgia bars LLCs from the registered agent job. The state says otherwise. O.C.G.A. § 14-11-209 opens the role to a Georgia resident, a domestic corporation, another domestic LLC, or a foreign corporation or LLC holding a Georgia certificate of authority. Two limits hold firm: your company cannot name itself, and the agent needs a genuine Georgia street address matching its business office, staffed during business hours. PO boxes and mail drops are out. Every service in our table passes, which means eligibility settles nothing here. Price and behavior are the whole contest.
April 1 Never Moves
Ready when you are. Ordering takes about five minutes.
Order HereGeorgia gives every LLC one filing season: January 1 through April 1, Annual Registration, $60. Your formation anniversary is irrelevant. Miss the deadline and a $25 late fee lands; stay delinquent two years running and the state can dissolve your company. The trap for new owners is timing, because the first registration is not due until the year after formation, long after the excitement wears off. This is the boring part of the job we take seriously: reminders start in January and repeat until you file. The state's annual registration guide explains the mechanics. Remembering it every year is what you pay us for.
