Buy one of the Inc Authority formation packages and your registered agent role is covered at no cost through the first twelve months. We looked for the catch and did not find one: no activation charge, no clipped term, no exit fee at the anniversary. For a business in its opening year that is a real cost taken off the books.

Free is easy to evaluate. It is the next part that is hard.

The Renewal Is Not Published

Search for the second-year price and you will not find it. Our review of the public pages came back with no figure at all.

We are not going to invent one. Fabricating a rival's number would collapse the single point being made here, which is that a recurring charge ought to be readable before you sign up for the thing that recurs.

What we can say without a number: Georgia requires an appointed registered agent every year your entity stays on the register. That makes the renewal the actual price and the free year the sample. Finding out what the renewal is after the vendor's address is already printed on your public filings is finding out at the worst possible moment.

Ask for it in writing before you buy. Ask them, ask us, ask anyone else on the list. A vendor who will not email you a renewal figure has answered you.

$99, First Year and Every Year

The form is less work than people expect. Two items go on it: the registered agent, and the principal office. Georgia does not put members or managers on the record through this filing at all, so there is nothing about ownership to compile or look up first.

What you cannot do is leave that line empty. Georgia needs a name in the agent field at all times, and there is no version of this where the slot sits vacant for a fortnight while you shop around. That fixes the sequence: appoint the replacement, file, confirm the record, then end the Inc Authority arrangement.
