Four Georgia Invoices, One Real Total

Stated plainly before anything else: Georgia Registered Agent.co competes with Swyft Filings and charges $99 a year for the same statutory job. Their price below is published by them and was checked in July 2026. The multiplication is yours to redo.

Swyft Filings runs a tight formation product. Short menu, quick turnaround, an order flow that does not detour through six upsell screens. If you want a Georgia LLC filed without a sales process attached, they are a legitimate choice, and the agent service bundled onto that order does the work the state requires.

The agent line at Swyft Filings reads $149, and the bill lands quarterly. Four times a year. Roughly $596 annualized.

Both numbers are true. Only the second one is comparable, because every other quote in this market is stated per year. Sitting beside $99 and $125 and $199, a $149 figure looks normal. Converted, it is the largest annual total on our Georgia comparison table by a wide margin.

No separate first-year discount turned up in our check either, so this is not an introductory cadence that settles down later. It is the cadence.

Quarterly billing works because of how people read card statements. Four charges of $149 slide past. One charge of $596 does not. That gap in attention is the entire mechanism, and annualizing closes it in about five seconds.

One Charge, One Number

$99 a year in Georgia. Billed once. Renews at $99. Nothing to convert and nothing arriving three more times before the year is out. Court papers scanned and emailed the day they reach our Georgia office, deadline reminders ahead of the state's window, our address on the public filing instead of yours.

From Swyft Filings to a New Georgia Agent of Record

Georgia gives you two routes and no dedicated form, which surprises most people looking for one.

Route one is the annual registration, $60 in total. Georgia builds that from a $50 statutory fee and a $10 service charge, and every LLC and corporation on the register owes it between January 1 and April 1. Naming a new agent on it costs nothing beyond the fee you already owe. Corporations follow the same rhythm under O.C.G.A. § 14-2-1622, so this is not an LLC-only arrangement.

Route two costs $30 and rides on the amendment form, CD 920, which the state accepts whenever you need it rather than only in the spring.

Two details specific to Georgia. The One Click renewal shortcut only works when nothing on your record is changing, so the year you replace an agent you log into eCorp and complete the full form. And Georgia lets you prepay the registration one, two, or three years ahead, at $60 per year, which is a quietly useful option once your agent situation is settled and you would rather stop thinking about April.

Then the sequencing, which matters more here than the fees. File the change, confirm the Georgia record shows your new agent, and cancel Swyft Filings after that. Not before, and do not try to line the cancellation up with a quarter boundary either. Losing part of a paid quarter is cheaper than leaving your entity on the state register with nobody appointed to receive a lawsuit.

That last point is the one people get wrong when they are annoyed about a bill. The instinct is to stop the charges immediately and sort the paperwork out afterward. Georgia does not work that way. Until the Corporations Division processes your filing, the old agent is still the party the state directs a process server toward, and a summons delivered into that gap counts as delivered whether or not anyone forwards it to you.

So treat the overlap as part of the cost of switching. A few weeks of paying two vendors is an irritation. A default judgment obtained because nobody was standing at the address on your record is not.
