Professional Compliance

$99 Now and $99 at Renewal

For $99 a year, get a Georgia agent with a registered address on file, same-day scanning of legal documents, and compliance reminders before state deadlines.

Bias, up front. Georgia Registered Agent.co is a registered agent service. We charge $99 a year, and if this page works, you buy from us instead of them. The ZenBusiness prices are ZenBusiness prices, verified July 2026. Go look them up.

Their Software Is Better Than Ours

Say it plainly: nobody in this industry builds a nicer dashboard. Filing history, state notices, compliance prompts, status on whatever is pending, all in one place that feels designed instead of assembled. If you want to run your company from one browser tab and you will actually open that tab, the extra money buys something you will use. That is a reasonable trade and we will not talk you out of it.

Now the Second Price

Standalone registered agent service from ZenBusiness, no formation package attached: $99 plus state fees to open. $199 a year to renew.

Take the $199 seriously, because it is the number you live with. Georgia wants an appointed agent for every year your entity sits on the register, which makes year one an introduction and years two onward the actual purchase. Compare on $199 and the picture changes shape.

The "plus state fees" wording matters too. Anything filed with Georgia as part of that order is charged separately, so the advertised number and the receipt are not the same number.

Five years at their rate: $895, plus whatever the state took along the way. Five years at ours: $495. Same appointment, same public record, one column twice the size of the other.

Our Price Does Not Have a Second Stage

$99 to start. $99 to renew. $99 in year seven. There was never a promotional rate to expire, so nothing is scheduled to change. Court papers delivered to our Georgia address get scanned and emailed the same business day. Your address stays off the public record and ours goes on it. Annual registration reminders arrive before the window opens, not after it shuts.

Not the cheapest, though. BetterLegal says $90, and that is nine dollars under us. What we hold is a spot among the lowest flat annual prices in Georgia, and it stays there.

Getting ZenBusiness Off Your Georgia Filing

Georgia gives you a $30 route and a no-extra-charge route, and which one applies is purely a calendar question.

From January 1 to April 1 the annual registration is owed anyway. Put the new agent on it, pay the usual $60, and the swap adds nothing to the bill. Any other month, the vehicle is the amendment, Form CD 920, which the state prices at $30. Both go to the Corporations Division, filed online through eCorp or mailed on paper. The full walkthrough is here.

One Georgia rule to know before you plan the exit: your LLC cannot serve as its own registered agent. Dropping ZenBusiness and quietly filling the line with your own company is not an option this state allows. A replacement has to exist before the change can go in, which rules out the tempting middle step of cancelling now and deciding later.

That fixes the order for you. Sign up with us, file the change, check the state record, then cancel ZenBusiness. Never the reverse. A Georgia entity carrying a stale agent on its record is one summons away from a problem that costs considerably more than $30 to unwind, and the overlap you pay for in the meantime is measured in days.

One more reason not to rush the cancellation: the filing has to clear before the record shows anything. Portal submissions move faster than mail, but neither is instant, and until the Corporations Division processes it, ZenBusiness is still the party a process server is directed to. Let the old plan run out its remaining time. Nobody has ever regretted a fortnight of double coverage.
